Today, our world faces unprecedented challenges, with global warming, ecosystems destruction and resources declining. These problems raise the question of our lifestyles, and the way our societies can evolve to address this environmental crisis. In every field of science and technology, from AI integration and human-machine interaction to the impact of human activities on the climate and environment, or our societies' gouvernance choices and business models, the social sciences' role is to open up debates and give us the means to make informed choices in shaping our collective future.
This year, AFRAN Forum's theme is:
Interdisciplinarity and multiple roles of the social sciences in supporting research and innovation challenges of the 21st Century
