Melbourne-CNRS Network and Symposium

Symposium on 6-7 December 2021 at the University of Melbourne

The Melbourne CNRS Network (MCN) is a partnership between the University of Melbourne and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), France. It consists of researchers and joint PhD candidates from the University of Melbourne, the CNRS, and several French university partners.

The Faculties of Science, of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, and of Engineering and IT have been participating in the Network through supervisors and graduate researchers enrolled in their Schools/Departments since the Network’s establishment in early 2020.

To provide you with an introduction to the Network, you are hereby invited to peruse the new Melbourne-CNRS Network (MCN) website which has recently been launched to provide a more professional and engaging ‘front’ for the Network and its future activities.

It also provides a great forum to promote the inaugural and virtual Melbourne-CNRS Network Symposium hosted by Frederic Hollande (MCN Academic Lead) and Jean-Paul Toutain (Director and Chief Representative CNRS ASEAN and Oceania Office) which is to be held on 6-7 December 2021. The Symposium program focuses on roundtable discussions, scientific presentations and networking opportunities demonstrating the collaboration between MCN supervisors and graduate researchers located in France and Australia.

You are cordially invited to participate in the symposium as a guest; details on the program and how to register are available on the symposium website – if you are not available to attend but know of colleagues who might be interested in attending, please pass this invitation on.

Please find below the Symposium flyer for distribution to your networks
