Launch of the 2023 ‘COHORT’ call for applications
Deadline: 31 May 2022
The Montpellier Advanced Knowledge Institute on Transitions (MAK’IT) launches its new ‘COHORT’ call for applications:
"What roles for science in crisis time?
Outlook in the health, environment and agriculture interconnected areas"
The ‘COHORT’ hosting programme aims to set up in Montpellier, over a period of 6 months, a group of international researchers from various geographical and disciplinary backgrounds, who will work together on the proposed theme, focusing on its impact on health, environmental and agricultural transitions towards sustainable development, through innovative and creative approaches related to controversies.
Our plan is to fund six out-of-the-box scientific thinkers to work together for six months on this theme, in Montpellier, France, surrounded by an exceptional and vibrant scientific community. This program offers an innovative and transdisciplinary group exercise that aims at deciphering how science is/will be challenged during times of crisis, with a view to identifying priority lines of action for research programming, teaching, foresight exercises, capacity building and networking. The selected candidates will be hosted at MAK’IT from January to June 2023.
To learn about our COHORT 2023 call for applications, register to MAK'IT information webinar on 13 May 2022 (9-10 am CEST / 5-6 pm AEST). You will be able to ask any questions you may have about the programme andthe application process.
