The call for Victoria's most prestigious science research awards is now open!

The Victorian Government is proud to continue to celebrate the achievements of leading Victorian Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs and Researchers by opening a call for nominations for the Victoria Prize for Science and Innovation in 2021.
Now is also the time to invest in Victorian early career scientists to enable them to undertake international travel, as soon as is possible, to foster collaboration with international centres of science research, to bring back knowledge to Victoria and continue in strengthening the state’s position as a global centre for research and innovation, with the Victorian Government providing 12 Victoria Fellowships in 2021.
Victoria Fellowship applicants can also apply for the AFRAN Associate Award (previously AFAS) valued at up to $5,000 for recipients of a Victoria Fellowship. AFRAN Associate Awards fund study missions in France in conjunction with a Victoria Fellowship to facilitate science and technology innovations that are of mutual benefit to Victoria and France.
