Thanks to the financial support of the Australian-French Association for Research and Innovation, the INSPÉ of New Caledonia (the National Institute for Teaching and Education), in partnership with the Vice Rector/General Director of New Caledonia education, organises a Workshop dedicated to the Australian International Section (AIS), deployed in New Caledonia, Australia, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna and in French Polynesia.
The organisers of this workshop are Stéphane Minvielle, Vice-President of the University of New Caledonia (UNC) and director of the INSPÉ of New Caledonia, and Florence Boulard, teacher-researcher at James Cook University Townsville.
The two days will notably discuss the following topics:
History and development of the AIS program
Actors, partnerships and networking of AIS
Pathways of training and skills developed by AIS students
Challenges and stakes for the implementation and sustainability of an AIS journey
Produce, share and mutualise resources for the AIS
Evolution of the organisation and practices in the Australian education system
Co-construct a research project around the AIS
