Fonds Pacifique 2024-2025: call now open!!

A call for projects is launched by the Permanent Secretariat for the Pacific, to support projects with the "Fund for economic, social and cultural cooperation for the Pacific", or "Fonds Pacifique". The selected projects will contribute to the regional insertion of the French communities: New Caledonia, French Polynesia and islands Wallis and Futuna.
Projects submitted for this call by Australian partners shall be submitted to the Embassy of France in Australia, by 20 January 2025.
To be eligible, the selected projects will have to fit in one of the following fields:
Projects allowing the French communities to be associated with the fight against climate change, environment conservation, and with the risk prevention of disasters. Priority will be given to projects in the run-up to the United Nation Ocean Conference schedulled in June 2025.
Economic projects within the scope of the sustainable development, and implementing the French Pacific territories capabilities or fostering their integration in regional economic exchanges. Priority will be given to projects in the audiovisual and craftsmanship sectors in 2025.
Food safety (management of halieutic resources). Projects with operational impacts and projects fostering the networking of the French Pacific territories capabilities for regional solidarity will be given special attention.
The projects must be co-financed at least at 50% of the total amount of the eligible expenses. Confirmation of funding from other sources must be included in your application.
