PhD scholarship opportunities in mathematics

The Centre Henri Lebesgue (western France: Bretagne and Pays de la Loire) offers scholarships for 1st and 2nd year Master students who wish to pursue with a PhD in fundamental and applied mathematics in various pathways : algebra-geometry ; analysis ; probabilities ; modelling, numerical analysis, scientific calculus ; statistical engineering, acturiat. Courses are taught in English when at least one non french speaking student attends the course. Key informations: - selection of application based on excellence via the website of the Center Henri Lebesgue only Bourses de Master | Centre Henri Lebesgue - applications are open from now until March 1st 2024 - scholarship amounts to 1000€ per month per student for 10 months (september until june) - important note for international students: you must check and follow the Procédure « études en France » | Campus France applicable for your country, especially deadlines. The Lebesgue application is not the Etudes en France application. You must do both.

For this campaign:

- 1st year master grants will be for female applicants only (may be followed by a 2nd year master grant)

- all mathematical pathways are open to candidates. The candidates must be interested in pursuing in research.
