Round 7 of the CRC-P program opens

The Minister for Industry, Science and Technology, the Hon Karen Andrews MP, has opened the 7th Round of the Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-Ps). The round will prioritise R&D on critical minerals, such as Lithium, cobalt, titanium, in order to help the resources sector growth, and to position Australia as a world leader in this developing market..
Demand for critical minerals such as lithium and rare earths is growing rapidly as they form a major part of commercial technologies like mobile phone chips, laptop computers, solar panels, wind turbines, and electric vehicles.
