ATIP-Avenir - Early career opportunity in France

Each year, CNRS Biology and Inserm jointly run the Atip-Avenir programme, aiming at creating junior teams by funding them up of €300,000 over 5 years, while also covering the salary of the project leader for 5 years and of a post-doctoral fellow for 2 years. This programme is aimed at young researchers in biology, regardless of nationality, who obtained their PhD (or equivalent degree) between 2 and 8 years ago and who wish to set up an independent team in a unit affiliated to CNRS Biology.
