The Australian Global Health Alliance is thrilled to be hosting its second Australian Global Health Film Festival this October, in partnership with Global Health Film. The festival will run from Friday 20 October to Wednesday 1 November 2023, showcasing films and exclusive Q&A sessions across Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Perth. Featuring excellent storytelling from all around the world with a strong focus on planetary health, mental health, gender and activism, climate action and First Nations peoples’ experiences, the festival provides a platform to engage local communities and leaders beyond the health sector in meaningful discussion on pressing global health issues through the medium of film. The 2023 Australian Global Health Film Festival is proudly sponsored by the Nossal Institute for Global Health, Australian-French Association for Research and Innovation (AFRAN), French Embassy of Australia, VicHealth, George Institute for Global Health, and the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (University of Melbourne), and supported by Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF), Monash University, Fred Hollows Foundation and the Australian National University.
