[EVENT] Visions croisés: French Australian Artistic Encounters

On 30 September 2026, the University of Sydney will host Visions croisées: French-Australian Artistic Encounters, a symposium exploring the rich artistic and cultural exchanges between France and Australia.

Organised by ISFAR and the Department of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Sydney, the event will bring together researchers, artists and cultural practitioners to discuss the role of women in transnational artistic exchange, as well as contemporary artistic responses to challenges including climate change, the Anthropocene, overconsumption and our relationship with water and the environment.
