FACET Grants 2026 - Expressions of Interest open

The Franco-Australian Indo-Pacific Centre for Energy Transition (FACET) launches its third round of grants on 24th November. Expressions of interest (EOI) are open for the Collaborative Industry & Research Grant, aimed at supporting high-impact, deployable projects that advance the energy transition.

Priorities

FACET will prioritise projects that demonstrate strong potential as case studies and address one or more of these areas:

• Decarbonisation of transport and heavy industry, including Biofuels / e-fuels or Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF)

• Decarbonisation of electricity systems, including grid systems

• Critical minerals for the energy transition

• Other topics aligned with FACET’s mission

Involvement of Indo-Pacific partners is encouraged.

Key dates for the EOI

• EOI Call opens – 24/11/2025

• EOIs due – 27/02/2026

• Internal review of eligible EOIs – March 2026

• Notification of EOI outcomes – 30/03/2026
