The “One Health” approach is based on a long-held belief: human health, animal health, and ecosystem health are closely interdependent. Recent health crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic have highlighted how important are coordinated responses, based on science, prevention, knowledge sharing and international cooperation.
The One Health Summit will be an opportunity to bring together, for the first time, Heads of State and Government from around the world, Heads of International and Regional Organizations, parlementarians, representatives of the scientific and academic community, the private sector, civil society, local authorities and youth to accelerate the implementation of the "One Health" approach.
The One Health Summit and partner events will give a voice to many stakeholders in order to strengthen dialogue and develop synergies that benefit the One Health approach. Around the Summit, a One Health Festival will take place in France and internationally, bringing together events curated following a call for proposals launched on 7 January 2026.
