The Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology (IPBS) and the Centre for Integrative Biology (CBI)

located in Toulouse, France, are seeking motivated PhD candidates as part of the BEST Doctoral

Programme of the University of Toulouse.

IPBS and CBI are leading research institutes of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS)

and the University of Toulouse. They are located on the main Campus of the University of Toulouse in southwest France, offering multidisciplinary education in the fields of Science, Health, Engineering and Technology, and developing one of the most important scientific research clusters in France. In order to strengthen their research endeavors within an inspiring, collaborative, and cutting-edge

environment, IPBS and CBI are seeking talented doctoral candidates to apply for the BEST Doctoral Programme.

The BEST Doctoral programme

These PhD opportunities are offered through the BEST Doctoral Programme, led by the University of Toulouse

and co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA

COFUND) and the Toulouse Initiative for Research’s Impact on Society (TIRIS). Thanks to this programme,

19 doctoral candidates will be recruited this year through an international co-supervision scheme across three major TIRIS thematic pillars (Health & Well-being, Global Changes and Sustainable Transitions). At CBI and IPBS, we are offering 11 PhD opportunities.

Outstanding early-career candidates holding a Master degree or equivalent, of any nationality, are invited

to apply. Successful candidates will benefit from strong career development support, including mentoring and

collaborative opportunities across research centers in Toulouse and within European networks.
