Applications for the 2023 round of the SAAFE (Scholarship AINSE ANSTO French Embassies) Program are welcome!
Postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers from France or from AINSE-member organisation may be eligible to apply for international travel in the period 1st October 2023 – 31st December 2024.
This follows the recent signing of a new MoU between AINSE, ANSTO, and the French Embassy in Australia. (New Zealand AINSE member universities are also able to access the SAAFE Program, for student travel to France for research collaborations, since the signing of the 2022 MoU between AINSE, ANSTO, and the French Embassy in New Zealand).
The SAAFE program provides successful applicants with costs towards a return flight and up to A$200 per week (up to a maximum of 26 weeks) to support accommodation expenses associated with a visit from:
Australia/New Zealand to France, or
France to Australia.
